Competition Information
The 2nd Annual Denver International Spirits Competition, will be held on March 2 & 3, 2013 at the Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield, Colorado.
This double blind competition will be based on a 100 point scale and we will judge spirits (fairly) by price categories.
We are now assembling a prestigious panel of 20 of Colorado's most respected spirits authorities to help with the first-ever, annual professional spirits competition in the Rocky Mountain Region. Our judging is based on the highest standards as competitions that are held in California, New York as well as London.
Judges will cast their votes for the best spirit entries in as many as 102 different categories. They will award medals for first (GOLD), second (SILVER) and third (BRONZE) place for each qualifying category and best of show.
New for 2013- Packaging & Design Contest
Label and packaging design is the most important ingredient in spirit sales and marketing. It has been proven that a great design can have a major impact on sales. Graphics, color schemes, font styles and font sizes are combined to create an attractive label.
The Denver International Spirits Competition will assemble a panel of
nationally recognized professional graphic designers, art directors and wine retailers to select the best spirits packaging designs from the competition.
Medals will be awarded for Double Gold, Gold, Silver and Bronze awards.
We invite all spirits producers, importers and distributors to enter their spirits in our second annual Denver International Spirits Competition.
